Complete Clarity Solicitors and Simplicity Legal has taken part in The Kiltwalk in order to raise funds for their charity partner, Team Jak.
The local law-firms deal with a variety of legal cases including family law, conveyancing, litigation and Wills/Power of Attorney.
The day of the Kiltwalk was looking to be a great one with the weather, clear skies and plenty of sun for the walkers! The firms had two teams taking part, one starting in Clydebank and the other taking the longer walk from Glasgow Green where both teams ended in Balloch. Despite the sore feet, the teams all managed to finish the walk at a brisk pace, making sure to take full advantage of the pit stops for water and snacks, as well as taking in the beautiful views.
Glasgow Solicitors Raise Pound 3465 For Team Jak
Plenty of dogs were walking alongside their owners and the firm was no exception; Solicitor Susan Grierson's dog Ollie was a trooper throughout the trek, motivating the staff to keep going to the end.
The atmosphere at the finish line was absolutely electric, the audience cheering the walkers on and the announcer practically screaming with enthusiasm for those finishing. The staff were awarded medals and took a well-deserved rest afterwards for some bagpipes and a bite to eat, with a Scottish lager on the side!
The staff at Complete Clarity Solicitors and Simplicity Legal could not be more proud of themselves for completing the walk and they look forward to future opportunities to work with Team Jak.
